Lookbook.nu Look: The Things You Said

When I put this look up on Lookbook, I was going through a lot of strife with my "friends", so using the title of that particular Depeche Mode song seemed appropriate.

Now that I'm blogging about my look, though, things are completely different. God has been exceedingly good to me and all of the trials that I went through within the past few months no longer matter all of a sudden.

At the beginning of the month, I was tapped by a cosmetic company to be part of their latest campaign. Two weeks after that, I was tapped by a restaurant/bar in the Fort to be one of their promoters. And then, a week after that, I was asked to be the official blogger (the only one, I might add!) for a certain skincare company, as well as one of the Blog Brand Ambassadors of a certain online shopping website.

I am blessed. And, right now, that is all that matters. :)

I am incredibly excited about all of these new projects. I cannot wait to share them with all of you once I've been given the go signal to do so. :)

Also, here's a lil something that I've learned: no matter how hard life may seem sometimes or how many difficult things God may be putting on your plate all at the same time, He has a plan for you and things will get better. They always do. Keep smiling! :)
