Clozette Fashion Finds App: My Latest Addiction

If you've been hanging out with me a lot recently, you must have noticed that I constantly have JJ, my iPad, with me now. We are practically inseparable.

As such, it only makes sense that I've been downloading a ton of random apps and trying them out to see which ones fit my personal lifestyle best. Well, one of the apps that I have grown to love within the past couple of weeks is the Clozette Fashion Finds app.

Remember that scene in "Clueless" where Cher gets on her clunky computer and sifts through images of her clothing items on it? This is pretty much what the Clozette Fashion Finds app is like... except it isn't in a clunky computer; it's in a portable gadget that makes fashionable lives easier and much more convenient overall.

Signing up for Clozette is fairly simple and stress-free.

You sign up with email.

You sign in.

And you're in!

(You can log in with Facebook, too!)

After that, you can start adding pictures into your virtual closet right away! This is the fun (and relatively addicting) part.

I don't really have the patience to take pictures of all of my clothes, though. So, what I do is I look for existing pictures of the clothing items that I have online and then take screenshots and upload them instead. Voila!

To make life even easier, there are buttons at the top, so you can sift through your dresses, tops, bottoms, shoes, bags, jewelry, etc. with ease.

The Clozette Fashion Finds app also works as a social networking and shopping portal. How?

Well, other users can like the items in your closet or comment on them if they want to. You can also share the price of the items that you have, so that they'll know what to expect at the stores.

And, if you like someone's item, you can comment and ask whether they would be up for selling it by any chance. (Or, at least, that's what I would do. :p) If you want to sell your own stuff, then it works as a FREE online store, as well!

Right now, there aren't a lot of people using the app yet, though, so I haven't been able to take full advantage of the shopping aspect of it all. This is mostly why I'm blogging about it: I want more people to join, so I can share items and buy items off of people! :D #shoppingaddict
