My Makeup Miracle Worker: Maybelline Clear Smooth All-in-One Shine-Free Foundation

As you should all know by now, I absolutely hate it when people abuse Photoshop so much that when you meet them in person, your first thought is, "Anyare?!??" (In English, loosely translated: "What the fuck happened?")

While I love the use of Photoshop in other cases, like magazines and other fancy graphic whatnots, I think that people should generally embrace themselves otherwise - imperfections and all. :)

Makeup, on the other hand, is a completely different case. In fact, I worship women who can make themselves look like complete goddesses or just better versions of themselves with the right application of makeup.

I'm no beauty guru, but I'm slowly starting to experiment with makeup myself and have gotten rave reviews about my skin from friends and acquaintances so far - compliments that I attribute to one particular add-on to my beauty kit recently, thanks to the May BDJ Box: the Maybelline Clear Smooth All-in-One Shine-Free Foundation.

Do you see that teeny tiny circle thing on the upper left? That's the Maybelline Clear Smooth All-in-One Shine-Free Foundation that I got in the May BDJ Box. Its 9g To Go version is so tiny and adorable that I can bring it anywhere.

To my surprise, most of my friends have been commenting on how great my skin looks and this is what I am attributing it to. The Maybelline Clear Smooth All-in-One Shine-Free Foundation basically keeps my skin matte and fresh, while concealing blemishes and giving me a smooth complexion that is safe from UV rays at the same time.

I generally don't have a lot of blemishes per se, but I do have crazy eyebags coz I sleep really late. :( Well, check this out:

Don't judge the eyebags. Like I said, I don't like Photoshopping myself. Lol. Anyway, this photo was taken while I was using "another brand" of foundation.

When I switched to the Maybelline Clear Smooth All-in-One Shine-Free Foundation, though:

Ta-daaa!

Again: no Photoshop. While my eyebags are still a lil visible - I've been an insomniac since high school... - they are much less visible, that's for sure!

I know what some of you are thinking. Maybe it's just the lighting. Maybe it's just the quality of the photos. Uh, guys... Maybe it's Maybelline! Uh-huh!
