Do you ever listen to a song that you have loved forever, but could never really relate to, and then suddenly realize that you can finally relate to it, and all of a sudden, it's no longer a song that you love, but a song that breaks your heart?

That's how I feel about Anberlin's "Impossible" (lyrics below).

I went to Anberlin's farewell concert a few months ago and all of my old favourites slowly gave way to new favourites as more and more of their songs started to mean things to me due to recent happenings in my life.

Anberlin is one of those I-will-love-you-forever bands. Makes me so happy I got this shirt the first time I saw them in concert when I first moved here a few years back. :)

There's just something about bands that truly stand the test of time.

Right now, I'm still listening to a lot of Ed Sheeran; but I'm also rediscovering The Script and Usher and falling in love with Taylor Swift and Bastille. Do you have any I-could-love-them-forever songs or bands for me? :) I just got my phone back and a Spotify playlist update would be rad.
